I am an Aristotelian in part, who suggests we follow the golden mean and eudemonia.
I am in part a Kantian, who suggests that we follow the categorical imperative to make eudemonia for all , and thereby affirm utilitarianism for the greater good .
And in part stoic, in suggesting that we take things in perspective.
Aristotle is right that we should be part of the greater community, but that depends on how we want to participate, but we owe taxes for the common good.
What is your take?

Aristotle- frienemy to naturalism
Aristotle was a naturalist. But he erred with his use of teleology in science, hindering science, and his own science erred, so that Europeans thinkers, following him erred and in so doing, hindered He science.
He stresses eudomenia- human flourishing: that which is good for us in moderation- the golden mean.
I view him as a frienemy- against and for naturalism.
Please add here your views on him and his thinking!
